Meet Our Team

Dr. Kevin Grimm was always interested in pursuing a career in the medical field. He grew up watching his father practice general dentistry; seeing his father’s amazing dedication to helping patients and mentoring other dentists inspired Dr. Grimm to decide to pursue a career in dentistry himself. Dr. Grimm graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy Dental School, in the top half of his class. After graduation, he has continued to learn and master new skills to help his patients constantly. He is dedicated to providing the best dentistry possible and doing everything he can to help his patients keep their teeth for the duration of their lifetime. He has completed several advanced training programs in oral surgery, endodontics, implantology, aesthetic and reconstructive dentistry and orthodontics.

When Dr. Grimm is not helping his patients, he enjoys spending time with his wife and nine children.

Korissa joined our team in January 2023, but has worked with Dr. Grimm for over 20 years. She is a member of the AADOM, and is currently completing a fellowship program as well as a bachelor’s degree in business management. Her favorite things about being a member our team is her ability to enhance the processes of the practice and the friendly, team-oriented work environment. Korissa works hard to create a team-centric and supportive atmosphere, process improvements and build positive patient relations.

Korissa comes from a family deeply involved in the dental world — her father is a dentist, her sister a hygienist and her brother a dental assistant. Korissa and her husband, Russell, have been married for eight years, and together they have five children and one dog. Outside the office, her hobbies include crafting, Bible studies, boating and camping.

Ashley joined our practice in Jun 2023, and appreciates being part of an office with a positive environment and knowing that even on her bad days she will have a good day here. She is one of the first people our patients meet, working with them to schedule their visits and check them in and out from our practice.

Ashley has her cosmology license, and loves doing hair and nails. Her hobbies also include singing!

Aidan joined our team in 2023. He enjoys being part of an office with a nice flow, a positive environment and coworkers who are easy to work with. He works hard to do his job to the best of his abilities and to work closely with other members of our team.

Aidan comes from a large family, and has five sisters and three brothers. Many members of his family work at Okemos Smile Center, including his father, Dr. Grimm, and two of his siblings. When not in the office, Aiden enjoys skiing, motor cross and playing games.

Cherie began her dental career as a dental assistant, and went on to be a medical assistant before finding her way back to the dental field. She joined Okemos Smile Center in January 2021, and enjoys being part of a family-oriented office with a wonderful team. Cherie assists Dr. Grimm with oral care ordering, sending out lab cases and setting appointments.

Cheri has three sons and one daughter, as well as 11 grandchildren. When not in the office, she can be found spending time with her family.

Damian joined our team in July 2023, working with Dr. Grimm to perform procedures and maintaining a clean, safe environment for our patients. He loves being part of a practice where he can help others.

Damian is currently attending LCC in Lansing to earn his dental hygiene certification. Outside the office, he enjoys playing video games, hiking and being in nature.
